About This Course
Information security is the protection of information asset to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA). In this course, you will learn about information assets, and how to apply the CIA triad when managing risks and threats.
Cybersecurity is the protection of information security in the virtual space. An example of virtual space is the “Internet”.

- Review the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) triad.
Assessment

| Topic 3 | Online quiz 3 (5 MCQs) |
You must complete a quiz for every topic with a passing score of 80% (i.e., 4 out of 5 questions). You will be given four attempts to achieve the passing score. The system will only capture the highest of the scores.
Prerequisites
This course does not have any pre-requisites. We do, however, make certain assumptions about your learning abilities, which we describe as assumed knowledge and skills. Learners in this course are assumed to:
- have analytical, communication and technical skills neccessary for online learning
